Leader Of The Pack - 'Ahi

Ahi are deep ocean predators, and were a powerful adversary to the ancient Hawaiians. 'Ahi actually means fire in 'ōlelo Hawai'i (the Hawaiian language) because the fish would pull the lines so fast they would smoke against the canoes. But this 'ahi, only about 3-4 ft long, was cruising in and out of a vast akule shoal this day! I dived down to get a better look, and captured a series of shots.
